What once started as a gag eventually turned into this popular web page! Several years ago, I gave a little graduation present to eighth graders. I donned a pair of dark sunglasses, grabbed a microphone, and gave my rendition of Jake Blues singing and dancing to "Soul Man." This grew into a yearly tradition, including performances on special occasions. I even started enlisting the help of guest students to perform the role of Elwood Blues. I have been a fan of The Blues Brothers, dating back to their debut on Saturday Night Live in 1978, so it is only fitting that 30 years later I present to you: Blues Brothers 2008!

Well, yes. If you are a fan of the blues, the visits will be well worth your time!
VH1.com: The Blues Brothers Biography
The title says it all. Whether we want to celebrate the The Blues Brothers as a sincere singing duo or a tongue-in-cheek put-on, read the biography of Joliet Jake and his mostly silent brother Elwood.
ELWOOD: It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.JAKE: Hit it!
