"Casey at the Bat" is the definitive baseball poem enjoyed by many generations since 1888. The fans of the Mudville Nine, a mythical baseball team, hope and pray mighty Casey, the team's best player, will get an opportunity to win the game for the home team. When the dramatic moment arrives, the fans are on their feet as their hero steps up to the plate.
