FCAT Explorer is a free, online educational program for Florida's students that reinforces reading skills outlined in the Sunshine State Standards. Passwords are required, so students cannot use this site until I have acquired the necessary information.
This website is designed to help teachers and students prepare for FCAT Reading. It includes resources for teachers as well as activities and practice tests for students.

"Good reading means building frameworks for connecting words to thoughts." This piece of advice and many others are offered to students who wish to improve their reading comprehension.
I am always looking for interactive FCAT practice. This recent find prepares students in many areas, including reading comprehension and grammar. Simply click on one of the Self-Assessment Modules. There is one drawback, however. Only multiple-choice questions are offered. Nevertheless, Test Prep Review is a very worthwhile website.
