"I Can See Clearly Now" by Johnny Nash

Tangerine is a great book for teenage readers and is required reading for seventh grade! It is the story of Paul Fisher and his family's move to Tangerine, Florida. Paul is nearly blind, but he cannot remember the incident which led to his condition. His older brother is a football star and his parents' favorite. Eventually, Paul realizes his dream of playing soccer and uncovering the cause of his near-blindness. The narrative is written in Paul's voice, which makes the book even more appealing.
